Dabney Coleman, known for his roles in the hit series "Yellowstone" and classic 1980s films "9 to 5" and "Tootsie," has passed away at the age of 92.
According to a statement from his daughter Quincy Coleman, he died on Thursday at his home in Santa Monica.
Coleman's acting career spanned nearly seven decades, beginning with appearances on TV shows like The Outer Limits, The Fugitive, and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour in the '60s. By the time he played the sexist boss Franklin Hart Jr. in 9 to 5 — holding his own alongside iconic actresses Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, and Jane Fonda.
Throughout his career, Coleman earned six Emmy nominations for his performances in the '80s NBC sitcom "Buffalo Bill," the TV movie "Sworn to Silence," the one-season sitcom "The Slap Maxwell Story," ABC's miniseries "Baby M," and the crime drama "Columbo."
