Shohei Ohtani gives Dodgers teammate Joe Kelly's wife a Porsche

Shohei Ohtani, a designated hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers, gifted a brand-new Porsche to his teammate Joe Kelly's wife as a token of gratitude.

Ashley Kelly's #Ohtake17 social media campaign, which went viral, encouraged the two-time American League MVP to sign with her husband's team. This led to the extravagant gift.

Her new vehicle was unveiled by the Dodgers on X Saturday after it was dropped off in front of the Kelly residence.

“It’s yours. From Shohei, he wanted to gift you a Porsche,” she is told in the clip as she covers her mouth in disbelief.

Ashley Kelly ran an aggressive online campaign in support of Ohtani before he committed to the team. She even renamed her 7-month-old son ShoKai.

On December 11, the Japanese athlete inked a historic $700 million, 10-year contract with the Dodgers.
