The US will back Ukraine "as long as we can," according to Biden

The US would "continue to supply Ukraine with critical weapons and equipment as long as we can," stated Biden during a joint news conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine.

He pointed out that last week, the host of a Russian state television program had praised Republicans for obstructing the passage of additional aid for Ukraine.

Biden said, "It might be time to rethink what you're doing if you're being celebrated by Russian propagandists."

As the war nears its second anniversary, Biden went on to outline US expectations for Ukraine.

Biden stated, "We want to see Ukraine win the war." “Winning means Ukraine is a sovereign, independent nation. And it can afford to defend itself today and deter further aggression. That's our objective.”
