Following the Chiefs Super Bowl parade, a shooting left at least 1 person dead and 14 injured

A fatality occurred following a shooting at the conclusion of a rally commemorating the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory, as reported by the Kansas City Fire Department.

Michael Hopkins, spokesperson for the Fire Department, disclosed that alongside the deceased individual, three patients were critically injured, five were seriously injured, and one sustained injuries not deemed life-threatening.

Hopkins mentioned that five more individuals have sought medical aid for injuries sustained during the event, though it remains uncertain whether they were victims of gunfire.
