According to IDF, Hamas is holding 136 hostages in Gaza

There are currently at least 136 hostages being held in Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces claim.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, an IDF spokesman, stated that 17 women and children are among the total.

According to the Israeli military, Ofir Tzarfati, one of the hostages, had his body returned to Israel.

Tzarfati was pronounced dead on Thursday; however, the IDF did not disclose the exact time or location of his death.
