Abbas said Israel's Rafah military strategy will expel Palestinians from Gaza

On Friday, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's intentions for a military escalation in the southern city of Rafah in Gaza.

According to a statement released by the Palestinian Authority's presidential office, Abbas asserted that Netanyahu's proposal to evacuate individuals from the densely populated city of Rafah is fundamentally aimed at displacing the Palestinian populace from their homeland.

The presidency strongly opposed the potential forced displacement of Palestinians from Rafah, a city already grappling with hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals from northern Gaza. It labeled this proposed action as a genuine threat.
