According to officials, at least 22 persons have gunshot wounds

In a Wednesday update, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves reported an increase in the number of individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

Graves stated that at least 22 people sustained gunshot wounds, with one fatality reported, according to Kansas City Fire Department Chief Ross Grundyson.

Among the victims, Grundyson noted that eight individuals had injuries deemed immediately life-threatening and were promptly transported to hospitals within 10 minutes. Seven others sustained life-threatening injuries, while six had minor injuries.
