7 injured, 4 critical in Long Beach shooting
Police authorities stated that seven men sustained injuries after gunfire erupted in the parking lot of a Long Beach nightclub, in what they believe to be a gang-related incident involving at least two shooters, as per reports on Sunday.
The shooting took place around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday in the vicinity of South Street and Paramount Boulevard, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The incident occurred in the northeastern part of the city, near the intersection of South Street and Paramount Boulevard.
According to police, four of the victims are in critical condition, while three have injuries deemed non-life-threatening. It remains uncertain if all the victims sustained gunshot wounds.
The suspects managed to flee the scene before law enforcement arrived.
Authorities continue their investigation into the matter.
