At least four dead and dozens injured in a train collision in the Czech Republic
At least four people were killed and 26 others injured when a passenger train collided with a cargo train in Pardubice, Czech Republic, on Wednesday evening, according to the regional governor.
Police reported that rescue services were on the scene, evacuating passengers.
A spokesperson for the Railway Administration's firefighters informed Czech TV that several individuals sustained serious injuries.
In a post on microblogging site X, Czech Republic's Prime Minister Petr Fiala expressed condolences on the accident and said, "The collision of two trains in Pardubice is a great misfortune. We are all thinking of the victims and the injured. My sincere condolences to all the bereaved."
